IJM is one of the largest antislavery organisations in the world, working to protect people in poverty from everyday violence, modern slavery and human trafficking. IJM consists of a global team of lawyers, social workers, criminal investigators, survivors and church communities collaborating to build a safer world where all are protected. IJM achieves this by bringing people to safety, strengthening justice systems and advocating for protection to be an essential and tangible future for everyone. Together with partners, IJM have brought over 85,000 people to safety and have seen a decrease in slavery by 86% in places they have worked.

The online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC) is an urgent and horrific form of trafficking, which robs children of their childhood, safety, and dignity. It involves the livestreaming the sexual exploitation of children, in exchange for compensation by an offender, who is often located around the world in nations such as Australia, the UK, Germany, and the US. IJM found that over half of identified OSEC victims in the Philippines were under the age of 12.

OSEC is a crime that thrives in the shadows, is hidden in private chats and live streams on the internet. But to protect children around the world who are vulnerable to exploitation online right now, everyone must do the hard work that brings OSEC into the light.

Thank you for all WDR is doing to support IJM's work; we're really thankful for your partnership!
