Interested in youth work beyond volunteering?

What is MOORLANDS COLLEGE?

Moorlands College, a prestigious non-denominational Christian college, and Youth Link: NI launched a new Moorlands centre called Moorlands NI @ Youth Link in September 2020, offering a BA Hons course in Applied Theology (Youth and Community Work) with JNC approved by the University of Gloucestershire which accredits Moorlands’ current degree programmes, and by relevant professional bodies. This is the only Christian youth work degree with JNC professional recognition on the island of Ireland.

Do you know a young person interested in youth work and ministry as a career or are exploring their vocation?

This could be the course for them. This course is designed to equip participants to serve God in practical and relevant ways in a fast-changing world and to give a firm foundation on which to build life and ministry. Youth Link NI and Moorlands NI, in partnership, run the BA (Hons) in Applied Theology (youth and Community work) with JNC. It is the only course of it’s kind in Ireland giving the opportunity to study Christian-based youth work, whilst being on placement, through a study block model.

Do pass this information on to a young person who you think might be interested and encourage them to attend one of the open days.

The next two open days are the 27th of April and 18th of May at 11am at Youth Link.
