The Methodist Church in Ireland is committed to being part of God’s Mission in the world, we are a people who seek to have warm hearts, tough hands and wet feet. The ‘All-In’ Conference in 2018 was a wonderful time of teaching, worship  and  fellowship as we thought together about how this commitment to mission and witness can be lived out locally. Under God we want to keep going, being faithful to God who leads us on this Adventure.

On the 16th November 2019 in Lismore Comprehensive School Craigavon, we’ll gather together again to learn, worship and explore the ‘what’s next?’ together. This is a day to be equipped, to discover missional tools, and to dream for your community.

This November 2019 we'll gather together again to explore the next step with keynote speaker, Neil Hudson.

Neil is the Director of Church Relationships at the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity. He leads a team of church consultants and oversees work with both UK and international churches. Neil’s extensive experience across the church streams enables him to inspire all kinds of leaders who want to grow whole-life disciplemaking communities and develop their culture-change skills.

This is a day to be equipped, to discover missional tools and to dream for your community.

Seminar information:

Warm Hearts: Connecting the good news of Jesus with life’s realities
  • Focussing on two of the horizons on evangelism to reach this generation and the next: How does evangelism feature in the everyday lives of disciples? How do we talk about Jesus today? What is the place of invitation and response in gathered worship? What do we expect God ‘to do’?

Tough Hands: Rhythms of Discipleship for the church family

  • What does it mean to be intentional disciples who grow together and live as followers of Jesus in everyday life? The disciple-making church is most healthy when we have balanced rhythms of worship, discipleship and mission. Through teaching and stories this seminar will explore and give tools to reflect on the rhythms of discipleship that are present in your church family, and how to grow in these rhythms.
Wet Feet:  Going where the church isn’t
  • What about all the people not in church? What about the people who have never really encountered Christianity? In this interactive workshop we don’t just want to talk about this we want to get our feet wet and try some new experimental things. We will look at what it might mean to be a network of people interested in being the church outside the walls, pioneering and planting new forms of church for the changing world.
