Installed on Wednesday 12th June in Cork, the Rev. McGuffin will travel this week-end to the Methodist Church in Killarney. This Church which in the 1970's was dependent on tourists for Sunday congregations in the late 1990's had to be extended to accommodate the numbers of asylum seeker who had arrived in the Co.Kerry town many of whom were Methodists.

Today the Church has more than 12 nationalities attending including Welsh, South Africa, The Philippines, Myanmar, Slovakia and Poland, and during the Service, the President will baptize twins - a boy called Emmanuel and his sister Emmanuella.

This will prove to be a "Day to Remember"
