MWI Fund Raising Breakfast

On Saturday 31st May, 66 ladies from Cullybackey descended on the Ross Park Hotel for a good old fashioned breakfast of bacon, eggs and sausages.

As you can guess the noise was a bit like a hen house as friends chatted over breakfast. Our guest speaker was Helen Moorhead. She was inspirational as she shared with us how God had been at work in the lives of the deaf children.

We were thrilled to see how some of the gifts collected by Willy Carson at an MWI open night were being used.

Helen MoorheadMost of us were moved to tears as Helen shared about all the building work, the transformation in the community most of all how wonderfully God had transformed the lives of so many children.

£600 was collected after the breakfast to help Helen continue her work! To God be all the glory.

Helen Moorehead is originally from Portadown. Helen set up a school for deaf children in Marimanti, in Kenya's Tharaka District where there is a very high incidence of
deafness amongst children.  The children range in age from 6 to 13.
