Faith & Order Committee Guidelines

The Faith and Order Committee of the Methodist Church in Ireland is appointed by Conference to scrutinize and make recommendations regarding doctrinal statements and documents to be issued in the name of the Methodist Church and to make recommendations about any proposed revisions in orders of worship.

A Fresh Expression of Our Mission: A Discussion Paper (The Methodist Church in Ireland Faith & Order Committee)
In preparation for the special Annual Conference, 2013: ‘A People Invited to Follow,’ the Faith and Order Committee prepared this relatively short statement. The Committee hoped that it would aid the Connexion-wide process of reflection concerning the future of the Methodist Church in Ireland and, in particular, our effectiveness in relation to the mission which God has entrusted to us.
