There is a host of material on the Internet devoted to the subject of Worship... We hope that you'll find the sites listed below to be helpful in your situation (links checked and refreshed March 2002).

General Worship/Teaching on Worship

CCLI Worship Resources - includes information on copyright licenses, top 25 songs in the UK, etc, along with articles from 'Worship Leader' magazine.
Cross Source - a well-maintained resource centre, with helpful sections on music and the arts, praise and worship, etc.
Heart of Worship - Matt Redman's website devoted to all things worship, with much wise counsel from other Soul Survivor people.
Sacramentis - "Re-imagining worship for a new world"... lots of helpful articles on worship by Sally Morgenthaler - the Links page is also very good
Tenebrae services - this special service for Maundy Thursday or Good Friday consists of readings of Christ's Passion from the Bible along with progressive snuffing of candles, ending in complete darkness. These sources show how to plan it: - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 -
The Worship Arts Conservatory - an intensive distance learning course in worship ministry... Cost is almost $4000 over two years, but the course content looks excellent.
Worship Arts Network - the design isn't great, but there are some gems hidden within!
Worship House - A links-library of helpful articles (some on Real Audio)
WorshipLeading.org - "a site dedicated to bettering your skills as a worship leader" - by far the best lay-out and selection of articles helpful to people interested in worship that I've found.
WorshipMap - contains a selection of original Bible studies and articles related to worship along with suggested orders of service and materials on particular themes.
Worship Together - an all-round comprehensive site, containing good teaching material and a weekly 'free song' that can be downloaded and printed.

The Word

Online Rev - "Partnering with Pastors" - this American site contains useful material for ministers and those in leadership.
Preach The Word - "The largest online archive of sermons from Northern Ireland in audio and transcript format", mainly the preaching of David Legge (Iron Hall Assembly, Belfast)
Sermon Fodder - this is an e-mail service that you can sign up to, with an almost-daily anecdote or illustration arriving in your inbox.
Today's Preacher - site with sermon illustrations etc
Worship That Works - with selected sermons following the liturgical year.

Audio-Visual

Alt.Worship - Resources for use in 'Alternative' worship services from a 'collective' based in Thornbury Methodist Church, Bradford.
Easy Worship - want to project songs onto a screen? This is a customised church presentation programme, similar to PowerPoint but more specialised. Cost - $399 (!)
The Scriptorium - a wealth of audio-visual material for download, very usable in worship. Click on "Download" and enter a username.
Small-Fire - a handy site if you're interested in running alternative worship events: it's mainly photographs from alt. worship services that have taken place over the past few years.
Visual Impact Design - with lots of clip art, flash graphics, etc for download and use on Christian websites, publications or presentations
WebShots - offers high quality (free!) photos for use on your computer (also good for PowerPoint presentations etc)

Dance/Mime

Kingdom Dance - Marie Bensley's site on the use of dance, flags and ribbons in worship
Worship Dance resource site - 'dedicated to the use of dance, creative movement, flags, and tambourines as an expression of Biblical Christian faith.'

Drama

Anastasis Productions - a selection of scripts available on this site... you donate whatever you can afford for their use.
Bob Snook's Dramas - lots of dramas from the 'Purpose Driven' Saddleback Church in America.
Drama page - small collection of dramas and narrated mimes, not recently updated.
DramaShare.org - large collection of dramas for use in church and schools, downloadable for $2 each or annual membership (all 500+ scripts available) costing $35.
Dramatix - a good source of Christian sketches.
His Company - good selection of monologues, sketches and full dramatic productions.
The Marsh Family site - includes good, recent sketches section.
Unity Christian Theatre Company - a small selection of usable sketches.
Whiteslade Drama - a small collection of royalty-free scripts

Music
It won't come as a surprise to discover that there's a ton of information on the internet regarding worship music - here are some of the choice picks!
