Mrs Hazel Loney

Profile

Mrs Hazel Loney has been nominated by Belfast District as President Designate, which has been ratified by Central Committee. Hazel comes from Co. Armagh and after graduating from Queens University Belfast lived in Indonesia, where she taught in a Bible School. In 1992, together with her husband Rev. Bobby Loney they were stationed to the Lisburn and Dromore circuit. During that time she served as lay pastoral assistant during the establishment of the then new Trinity Church. In 2001 they moved to Cairnshill Society and here she serves as pastoral assistant for both Cairnshill and Knockbreda churches. She is a local preacher and has been a member of MWA & MWI since her 20s, being president of her branch at the age of 27.

Hazel says, “I feel a strong call of God on my life to know Christ and to make Him known wherever and whenever the opportunity presents itself. I am always ready to give a reason for the hope that lies within me, and my greatest passion is to teach and preach the unsearchable riches of Christ”.
