How to use this RSS feed

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'.  It is used for web pages which are updated regularly and allows you to see when new content has been added as soon as it is published without having to visit the websites yourself.

On this website there is a News feed and an Events feed, in addition to the Prayer Focus feed.
To view a RSS feed, you will need some software, known as a news reader.  This software will check the feed and allow you to read any new articles that have been added. There are a variety of news readers, some which can be accessed using an internet browser and others which are downloadable.

The browser based news reader allows you to read your RSS feeds online and the downloadable versions enable you to store them on your computer.

Where do I get a news reader?

There a a variety of news readers available but it depends on what operating system you are using on your computer.

Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, automatically check for feeds for you when you visit a website, and display an icon when they find one.
