Methodist Response to Pakistan Flooding
Methodist Churches in Ireland have been encouraged to contribute to the emergency appeal for the flooding in Pakistan through the World Development & Relief Fund's sister organisation, Christian Aid as part of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). The World Development Relief Fund has already allocated £5,000 to the emergency appeal. Methodist President Ghana Bound
The President of the Methodist, the Rev. Paul Kingston is to make a Pastoral to the Methodist Church of Ghana from 8th-25th August 2010 during which time he will meet with the Presiding Bishop of the Ghanian Methodist Church, address its Annual Conference and make a visit to Wenchi Hospital. Methodist President Condemns North Belfast Rioting
The President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, the Rev. Paul Kingston condemns without reserve the riotous behaviour witnessed in North Belfast over the past two nights. Churches urged to celebrate and care for Creation

Churches say Jobs and Businesses at Risk because of Behaviour of Banks
Leaders of the four main churches in Northern Ireland have come together to call on local banks to adopt a more understanding and positive approach when dealing with businesses.
