A Story of Mission in Sierra Leone 1949 - 1987PA Wallace - A Story of Mission in Sierra Leone 1949-1987
By Ken Todd

Leslie Wallace worked in the printing trade in Belfast and was elected for three periods as President of the Methodist Church Sierra Leone, West Africa, where he spent 39 years in mission work.

For 12 years he lived under British Colonial rule and for 27 years in an independent nation, serving a Kingdom that was higher than both.

For a short time he served in The Gambia. These were years of political change and expansion of the Christian mission.

Ken Todd, who worked with Leslie Wallace for some of these years, has gathered these recollections to record an era of remarkable church growth in challenging conditions.
