Methodists Elect New President for 2012

The President Designate 2012, Rev Ken Lindsay

Meeting in Newtownards, the Annual Conference Methodist Church in Ireland have designated the Rev. Ken Lindsay, a native of the town as President for 2021-13

The Rev. Lindsay has served churches in Belfast, Dublin, Carnlea and currently in Ballinamallard/Trillick. He has also served as University and College Chaplain in Dublin.

Before entering the ministry Rev. Lindsay, an Agriculture Graduate of Queens University Belfast, served the church in Sierra Leone.

Married to Patricia, the President Elect has two children.He will be installed when the conference meets in Enniskillen in June 2012.
