Methodist Conference condemns recent sectarianism

 SECTARIANISM

The Conference of the Methodist Church in Ireland condemns the recent sectarian behaviour in Coleraine and in other places and offers its sympathy to the families effected by the recent death and violence.

The Conference encourages its members to help contribute to reconciliation by working with cross community and inter-Church groups.

It commends the actions of the local Churches in the Coleraine area in engaging in prayer and action.
