Don't Miss Global Vision 2007 “Who will go?” - Dublin District Overseas Conference On Saturday 10 th March at Wesley College starting at 1.30 pm. The keynote speaker will be Rev Ken Todd with workshops touching on Bangladesh, Togo, the multi-ethnic church experience in Ireland and the pros and cons of the short-term visit overseas. This is the District’s opportunity to be informed about and engage with the world church – praise, prayer and learning. Make this your church event for that weekend. There will also be a children’s programme entitled “ Namasthe, Nepal” based around the JMA’s project in that country. A two course tea is included in the price. Midlands and Southern District Overseas ConferenceThe Midlands and Southern Conference will be on 17 th February in Gurteen College from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. (Word) (pdf) Volunteers in Mission are Togo bound MMS are taking a small team of volunteers to help the church in Togo refurbish a school in July 2007. This is a church in need but with big plans. The relationship is a great encouragement to them. Applicatons are already being received and the deadline was mid-December. Read December’s Methodist newsletter for details or contact the office. Living to Please God. Each one provides info on our world today, Biblical
background on issues and lots of ideas for action. It is accompanied by
