Projects
WDRC currently allocates money in three ways:
Approximately 40% to local non-governmental organisations/groups and Methodist Conferences
Approximately 40% in partnership with Christian Aid Ireland.
Approximately 20% in partnership with MRDF.
Local non-governmental organisations and groups
These local grassroots bodies are in an ideal position as they are part of the communities in which they work and understand the culture, local infrastructures and 'ways of doing things'.
Overseas Methodist Conferences and Church Authorities
It is sometimes Methodist Churches in other countries or their development departments who approach WDRC for funding of specific projects.
