World Mission
The Methodist Missionary Society (Ireland) enables the members of the Methodist Church in Ireland (and its friends) to engage in world mission with its world church partners. It does this through prayer, education, the funding of projects and the mobilizing of resources, including personnel. MMS(I) wishes to receive from as well as support its partners.

Volunteers in Mission teams
The only team currently anticipated for 2012 is a youth team to Guatemala in July. This is a partnership between MMS(I), the Methodist Department of Youth and Children's Work (DYCW), the Methodist Church in Guatemala and Christian Aid Ireland. Do you have a world vision?
There are numerous resources available from the office as well as regular news and activities that are emailed. If you don't receive or know about these then contact the office. If world mission is low on your church's radar at the moment then perhaps you would consider being the link between MMS(I) and your congregation. Speak with your minister first and then contact us.
Need a speaker or resources?
Tim Dunwoody, the World Mission and Development Officer, is available to take services, lead discussions or workshops on issues relating to MMS. He would be delighted to visit. He may also be able to suggest suitable resources and other speakers. Contact Tim
