Take action on Climate Change

Take action on Climate Change - in the run up to the UN Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen, Stop Climate Chaos have organised The Wave in Belfast City centre and in Dublin on Saturday 5th December.
Former President of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson is the guest speaker at an Ecumenical Prayer Service to be held in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin
at 5.45pm on Friday 11th December. Churches are urged to pray in the run up to the summit and the UK Faith leaders have issued a Statement on Climate Change.. Churches together in Britain and Ireland have produced sermon notes, prayers, powerpoint files, notes for workshops and discussions and action ideas as part of the Creation in Crisis theme which you can download for free here .


Local Preachers

A new section on the website has been added to help Local Preachers, with details of training, exegesis passages, online resources and the opportunity to join a new facebook group to network.


Advent 2009

We offer a round up of resources online for Advent season with a World in Waiting from Churches together in Britain and Ireland with prayers and reflections in light of the economic crisis, a Paperless Christmas along with a host of other material for children and young people.

 

 

Home Mission Appeal 2009
