Bible Studies, Training, Shop...

The resources available to you through ECEC are not confined to classes. We offer a full range of Bible Study booklets which you can use at your own leisure or with others in a group setting. Also, if you're in Ireland we can arrange training days, evenings, etc., for your church - in whatever area you require (we may point you to another Christian agency)

We fully support the ConneXions process, and are available to help deliver the menu.

Bible Studies

The booklets usually contain ten studies which can be used equally well by an individual, or by the members of a group who meet together. In this situation the studies have proved more enriching when every member of the group has their own copy. They are intended for devotional use and include suggestions for prayer and a hymn.

ECEC on the road

Training sessions are offered primarily to the Districts of the Methodist Church in Ireland for those who fulfil a particular role within their local Methodist congregation, such as church Pastoral Visitors, Youth leaders, children's workers or Circuit and Society Stewards. No 9 Resource Centre

ECEC and the Methodist Resource Centre have united, bringing training and resources together in one location - the No 9 Resource Centre! We hope that this combination will prove a valuable tool for the church and its individuals. No 9 is open to the public daily: Mon-Thurs 10am-4pm and Fri 10am-2pm (late opening to 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term).

Recognising that ECEC serves the whole Methodist Connexion in Ireland, No 9 is available online. The online catalogue is in continual development - you can order many Christian books, CDs, etc with up to 10% discount on most items or a discounted delivery charge if you need items posted.

The website also includes listings of resource-full websites from around the Internet, as well as a growing index of Christian training opportunities offered by the Methodist Church in Ireland and other agencies. Visit it NOW!
