ECEC - About Us

Edgehill Christian Education Centre was officially opened in 1984 and offers a range of courses in Biblical studies, Theology and practical ministry for lay people. We run classes and correspondence courses from our base in Belfast but also are available to visit anywhere in Ireland to run seminars on a range of topics. Our vision is to see the people of God growing in knowledge, developing in faith and equipped to serve. We are a part of Edgehill Theological College (the training college for the Methodist Church in Ireland) - as such, we serve the Methodist Church in Ireland by delivering training and resources on an ad hoc basis. Courses and Classes from ECEC have always attracted students from a variety of Christian denominations and walks of life.

Elaine Barnett is the Administrator of ECEC - she's the one who has the bright spark ideas! If you'd like to explore provision of training in any particular area, get in touch with her.

Kay Irvine is the Administrative Assistant - if you need specific information on courses that we run, she's the lady to whom you should speak.

Ross Harte is the Resources Development Officer - he manages No 9 Resource Centre and is available to lead workshops/consultations on worship, small groups, resources, etc.
