What is Spring Swell?

Spring Swell is a Youth Event based on the sport and culture of surfing. The event aims to bring young people together for a weekend, to have FUN, SURF and learn more about GOD in an unforced, creative and culturally relevant way. Over the weekend there will be lots of fun activities and exciting things happening. There will be Speakers, Music, Workshops, Surf Lessons , Chill Out Time and Great Food!

PRICE:

£55 - Early Booking before 28th February 2011.
£60 - Late Booking by 14th March 2011.

ACCOMMODATION:

We will be using the Methodist and Presbyterian Church Halls over the weekend. Sleeping will be on Church Hall floors. Girls will sleep in one Church and Boys the other.

TRANSPORT

Transport to Portrush is very straight forward. With a direct train line from Belfast and Londonderry and buses from around the country. The accomodation is literally 3 minutes walk from the train station. Taking the train can add to the adventure of the weekend and may take away the stress of leaders having to drive home tired at the end of the weekend. Everything over the weekend will be in walking distance so there will be no need for transport once you get there. www.translink.co.uk Transport will be the responsibility of the individual groups.

WHO IS IT FOR:

Anyone aged 13+ This is an opportunity for any group of young people from any background, group or organisation to take part.
