World Federation and MWI share the same aim of “To know Christ and to make Him known.”

The Tree of Life is the emblem of the World Federation for Methodist Church Women (WFM&UCW).

It is an evergreen tree signifying continuous life and vitality. Its branches stretch outward and upwards, symbols of our thought and action reaching upwars to God and outward to our neighbours.

The twelve fruits of the tree are: evangelism, medical work, education, literature, children, youth, home & family, rural projects, economic justice, international friendship, temperance & world peace.

These are symbols of those graces of Christian service that will always be found in the lives of people who are rooted in Christ.

"On either side of the river was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yeilded her frit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations" Revelations 22:2
