Installation of Mrs Helen Loane as Lakelands District MWI President
Pettigo Methodist Church was the venue for the installation of the new Lakelands District President, Mrs Helen Loane. Helen is a member of Pettigo and was pleased that the service was in her home church. We were delighted that on a very wet evening the church was well filled and everyone received a very warm welcome. Launch of Methodist Women in Britain and Commissioning Service
On 1st July I had the honour of attending the Launch of MWiB and Commissioning service in Southport. The theme for this historic occasion was `For such a time as this`. Swanick Conference 2011
The Methodists in World Mission Conference was once again held this year in the beautiful setting of The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire, from 3 rd -5 th June. The Theme: "Caribbean Encounter."
