Night and Day of Prayer

Our dream was that every church across this island would commit to one 24 hour period of prayer, beginning on Saturday the 19th September and ending up with a family service on the Sunday morning.  Read a short update on the weekend and if you still want to use the resources you'll find them here on the Night and Day of Prayer web page .

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the MWI website! 'MWI' links together all the women's groups within the Methodist Church in Ireland as well as supporting individuals where groups do not exist. We trust you'll find helpful information in these pages.

Methodist Women in Ireland exists:

  • To enable members through fellowship with each other to deepen their personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
  • To relate the teaching of Jesus Christ to life in the home, the church, the community and the world.
  • To share in the mission of the World Church
  • To provide a link with the women of other churches in Ireland and throughout the world.
